Stroll for Your Soul offers 21 days of accompaniment through a brief email delivered early each morning to your inbox.
The Stroll emails will help you notice the glories of the Divine present in Spring. They offer practice at paying attention and being in the present moment with a grateful heart.
Our 2022 Theme is “Weathering Our Days.” Every day has weather. As we pause to consider the weather, we gain spiritual lessons for our journey.
With a Group registration, you are welcome to sign up as many participants from your congregation as you wish, or sign up a group of family/friends from far away or close by.
Perhaps you would prefer an Individual registration for your own self care/continuing education or enjoyment!
You can find information about both the Group and Individual registration in the Prayer Bench Shop.
Stroll Ideas
Enjoy reading Stroll with your morning coffee and then go for a Stroll or carry the message within you throughout the day.
Read Stroll after supper and talk a quick stroll around the block. End your day with gratitude.
Not up to long walk? Just stroll over to the window and read and reflect with what is before your eyes.
Join with others from around the world in the Stroll Facebook Group or use the suggested daily photo prompts to focus your attention, share photos on Instagram, inspire a prayer or poem.
Signing up a group? Plan to meet for a Group Stroll together once a week at a local spot such as a park, beach, track, garden or street.
Wondering if it too late to sign up a group? Send your participant info before Friday, and you can add names even after we begin. There is a poster and a sign up sheet at the bottom to help you get started.
Get a Stroll for yourself and a gift for a friend and Stroll together though miles apart.
Stroll for Your Soul is a collaborative program between Prayer Bench and Caroline Bindon of Kereru Publishing in New Zealand. Caroline offers Stroll in September. Together, we explore the unique spirituality of our weather from very different parts of the world by sharing everyday experiences with reflections, videos, scripture and photographs and experiential prayer.
Looking forward to strolling with you, Janice
